Thanksgiving Potluck – Tuesday, October 14, 2008

The annual Chilocco Thanksgiving Potluck is Nov. 29, 2008 at the Cherokee Restaurant Ballroom, Tahlequah, OK. Bring your thanksgiving leftovers and join Betty Belt, CNAA Board, all Chilocco alumni, former students, former employees, friends and families beginning at 10:00 a.m. We will have t-shirts for sale, and raffle tickets for sale on traditional Seminole Jackets, skirts, vest, purses, Shoshone beaded quiver, and candle holders. Tickets will be $2.00 each or three for $5.00. Board members and other alumni will have tickets or you may use the order form printed in the next Chilocco newsletter. Hall of Fame Nomination – Monday, August 25, 2008
Nomination for the Chilocco Hall of Fame deadline date is January 31, 2009. Contact James Edwards, at 918 742-1549, for rules and nomination procedures. A person may nominate only one person (former student, former employee).

Please plan to attend the 2009 Reunion. We need a count of attendees from your class so we can better plan a wonderful evening in your honor.

Major Reunion Activities Schedule: June 11 – 14, 2009

Thursday June 11: 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Set-up; 4:00 p.m. Registration Desk Opens; 7:00 p.m. – Reception; Friday, June 12: 8:00 a.m. Golf Scramble at Cherokee Hills (First 80 entries, details to follow); Friday: 6:30 p.m. – Cultural Activity (Indian fashion show, entertainment, & powwow); Saturday, June 13: 7:30 a.m. Vets Breakfast; 10:00 a.m. – Business Meeting; 12:15 noon – Hall of Fame Luncheon; 2:00 p.m. – Class of 1959 Meeting; 6:00 p.m. Banquet, H.o.F. Induction, Raffle Drawing; 9:00 p.m. Dance; Sunday, June 14: 9:00 a.m. – Worship Services. Please Register Early and avoid the Saturday hassle.

Tickets For Drawing – Monday, August 25, 2008
The Seminole Tribe of Florida donated nine items to CNAA. Also candle holders, marketed by the Muckleshoot Tribe and a Shoshone Bannock beaded Quiver have also been donated. Tickets are $2.00 each or three for $5.00. Drawing will be at the 2009 Reunion Banquet on June 13. Winners will not need to be present. If you win you will be notified and items shipped to you. Pictures of these items are posted on this website “Picture” section. Picture brochures of these items are available. Be a winner of these wonderful items. Purchase a ticket from Board Members or other Alumni, or use the ticket order printed in the fall edition of the newsletter.
